The walls were previously finished in a strong plum distemper, and preparing an appropriate substrate for the delicate silk paper without removing the character of the original lime plaster was a significant challenge.
Luxury Kitchen Cabinet Spray Respray
A large lateral apartment in a Knightsbridge mansion block on Beaufort Gardens had a £80,000 bespoke kitchen installation in aged oak and cream lacquer that the new owners wanted to refresh. Rather than replace the cabinetry — which would have cost significantly more — they commissioned us to respray all 47 cabinet doors and drawer fronts off-site, plus spray-finish all carcasses and frames in situ, transforming the kitchen colour scheme from cream to a sophisticated deep sage green in Farrow & Ball's Mizzle.
Full Sash Window Restoration — Victorian Townhouse
A five-storey Victorian townhouse on Tite Street in Chelsea had all nineteen of its original sash windows suffering from accumulated paint build-up, failing joinery, and stuck sashes that had not moved in years. The Cadogan Estate required all windows to be restored to working order and repainted to an approved specification as a condition of a lease renewal. The project was one of the most complex sash window restoration commissions we have undertaken in terms of scope, requiring specialist joinery work alongside the decorating programme.

A burst pipe in the roof space of a Grade II listed Victorian villa in Kensington caused extensive water damage across four rooms on the top two floors, destroying decorative finishes and saturating original lime plaster. The loss adjuster engaged us to specify and carry out the reinstatement works, coordinating closely with the client, the heritage consultant, and the insurer's surveyor to ensure the like-for-like standard was properly established and agreed before any works commenced.

The property had been sympathetically maintained over the decades but had never undergone a comprehensive redecoration: lime plaster walls had accumulated numerous incompatible coatings, painted joinery had lost its profile to paint build-up, and the principal-floor dado rail had been clumsily overworked. The client's brief was an authentic lime and natural paint restoration throughout, with oil paint on all period joinery and a hand-painted detail scheme on the dado rail.

A large semi-detached Victorian villa on Fitzroy Road in Primrose Hill, within the Primrose Hill conservation area administered by Camden Council, required a complete exterior repaint following significant paint failure across its rendered facade. High-End Kitchen Cabinet Respray — 42 Doors in Railings
A complete kitchen cabinet respray for a high-specification Chelsea kitchen, transforming 42 cabinet doors and drawer fronts from a dated warm cream to Farrow & Ball Railings — one of the most popular cabinet respray colours in London — with all metal handles resprayed in Mylands Marble Arch. The kitchen, in a lateral first-floor apartment on Cheyne Walk, featured bespoke shaker-profile cabinetry in painted MDF that was in structurally excellent condition but cosmetically tired. Rather than commission a full kitchen replacement — which would have disrupted the apartment for several weeks and cost many times more — the client opted for a professional respray to achieve a near-factory-quality finish in an updated colour scheme.
